Our Story

Founded in 2005, Komal Herbals, Inc. was born out of a deep-rooted passion for Ayurveda and a commitment to holistic health. Our journey began in 2004 when our visionary founder, Hasmukh Parekh, decided to shift from pharmaceutical manufacturing to focus on Ayurveda, the ancient healing system of India, practiced for over 5000 years. This profound decision saw him leave behind the production of high-end antibiotics and embrace the purity of natural herbs and Ayurvedic wellness, driven by the belief that these age-old remedies could help people live longer, healthier, and happier lives.

At Komal Herbals, we are dedicated to ethically sourcing only the highest quality herbs—organically grown and sustainably harvested from India and across the globe. We work tirelessly with our partners to ensure eco-friendly practices are maintained throughout the process, providing our customers with products they can trust, backed by rigorous standards and certifications.

Our commitment to quality is exemplified by our certifications. Since 2009, we’ve maintained Kosher certification through Earth Kosher, followed by Organic certification from Pennsylvania Certified Organics in 2011. In 2015, we expanded our offerings to include Gluten-Free, Vegan, and non-GMO verified products. These milestones reflect our dedication to not only our customers but to the planet, as we strive to create products that contribute to a healthier, sustainable future.

In 2017, we further elevated our standards by opening a State-of-the-Art manufacturing facility, certified cGMP and Organic by third-party organizations. This advanced facility allows us to produce a wide range of natural and time-tested products under the highest safety and quality standards. Our brands, AyurBest and Kazana, represent this unwavering commitment to both the environment and holistic wellness.

One of our proudest achievements is the launch of PRAAS, the first-ever Made in the USA organic Chyawanprash, a traditional Ayurvedic elixir made from certified organic ingredients. We also offer a range of encapsulated organic herbs, staying true to their whole, natural form.
