Wholesale Spices & Herbs - Amalaki (Amla) Powder, Organic 4.1oz (117g) Jar

Amalaki, otherwise known as Amla or Indian Gooseberry is grown and harvested in India and nearby countries. It is a unique balance of sweet, sour, bitter, astringent and pungent flavors all wrapped into this delicious fruit. It originates from the amla tree that has yellow-green flowers that blossom into the fruits. The fruits are small to medium, comparable to the size of a golf ball, and they are yellow-green with a coarse inner texture. Amalaki is high in fiber and low in sugar, which makes it a great ingredient in snacks and meals
